(1)Papermaking Industry
As an important auxiliary agent, QUAT 188 is widely applied to starch, cellulose, and chitosan chemical modification. The cationic starch, which is etherification modified from raw starch, can be used as the paper's surface sizing agent, retention and filtration aid, enhancer and so on. It is a kind of papermaking additives with great dosage.
(2)Textile Industry
The cotton fiber, which is modified by (3-Chloro-2-hydroxypropyl) trimethyl ammonium chloride, can enhance the dye’s cohesiveness. And cationic starch acquired by reacting to starch can be used as warp sizing agent.
(3)Water Treatment Industry
The electronegative suspended solids of water can react with liquid QUAT 188 Cationic Monomer and get cationic macromolecule. As flocculant, it can be widely used in the purification of water
(4)Daily Chemical Industry
The cationic guar gum and other chemicals, which are formed by QUAT 188 modification, are all important daily chemicals.
