CR-2000 is a kind of quaternary ammonium salt, which is also an important organic synthesis intermediates. Molecular formula is C6H15NOCL2 and molecular weight is 188.1. Structural formula is the following:
Under the normal temperature, this product is the aqueous solution with 69% active matter content and immediately transforms into epoxy structure in alkaline conditions. So it is widely used for cationic modification of starch, guar gum, cellulose and other material.

1.Introduction:Cationicreagent is a multiapplication of fine chemical product. Its main ingredient is a trimethyl(3 - chloro - 2 - hydroxypropyl) ammonium chloride. Its formula is C6H15Cl2NO with molecular weight 188.10.

3.Application
Its epichlorohydrin parent, 3-chloro-2-hydroxypropyl trimethyl ammonium chloride replaces 2,3-epoxypropyl trimethyl ammonium chloride as a cationic modifier to modify cellulose fibers.
The thermal stability of this type of cationic modifier can be improved by extending the length of the alkyl chain connected to the central nitrogen atom of the quaternary ammonium salt, to achieve the salt-free dyeing of reactive dyes, heighten the affinity between cotton fiber and reactive dyes, and increase the rate of dyeing.
